Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide outstanding pediatric urgent care services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical exams and document patient medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, imaging).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications.
• Perform procedures such as suturing and administering injections.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and lifestyle management.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in VA.
• Education: Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Skills: Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation.
• Experience: Prior experience in pediatrics or pediatric urgent care preferred; proficiency in electronic health record systems like ECW.
• Certifications: PALS and ACLS certification (Required).
• Language: Spanish proficiency preferred to serve diverse patient populations.

Job Details:

• Expected Hours: 10-25 hours per week.
• Schedule: Flexible shifts, including rotating weekends (10-hour or 5-hour shifts). Evenings and Weekends
• Location: Falls Church, VA 22042.
