Pharma/Biotech Senior Project/Account Manager
Position Overview The is Senior Project/Account Manager (Pharma/Biotech) is responsible for driving the local execution of marketing strategies and initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement in the local market. This role focuses on collaborating with cross-functional teams to align national strategies with local needs, ultimately aiming to boost sales and client retention.
This assignment will begin as 20 hours per week through the end of 2025 then is expected to increase to 40 hours per week in 2026. The assignment will run through December 2026.
Key Responsibilities - Oversees global / orchestrates local content asset production (long form and short form) and provides support
- Is the single point of contact for brand teams and production teams
- Initiates co-creation workshops to ensure local requirements are met, orchestrates/executes the localization of global assets
- Supports with omnichannel advice, provides industry trends and enables best practice sharing across the Activation Manager network
- Supports with strategic inputs to drive the model successful adoption and scaling, informs and optimizes future projects by providing analytics and insights from past campaigns
- Leads and executes demand planning with brands and accordingly informs Hub capacity planning
- Supports the local US team with the MLR / Approvals process for content
- Assists with the planning of content for approval and ensuring that any additional materials or adaptations are completed/executed in accordance with the FDA processes
- Provides measurement reporting to US brand leads on content performance through the pre-agreed dashboards for the global project
- QAs all content assets, flagging any issues and working with local teams to make changes before they go to the client
- Acts as the "last barrier of defense" before assets go to the client
- Can deal with any potential escalations and ensure that best practices are followed to ensure smooth ways of working/implementation of the overall service to the local market
Qualifications - 5 to 10 years agency experience
- Pharma or biotech background/experience required
- Previous copywriting / editing experience in the pharma / biotech space is ideal
- Must be proficient with Veeva Vault
- Must have experience working in JIRA (or similar project management ticketing system)
- Knowledge of the US MLR Process (FDA guidelines etc)
- Must be comfortable with end to end Campaign management and planning
- Must have strong project management skills and a strong eye for detail
