Job Summary:
The Accounting / Finance Intern will gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance operations, supporting various functions within the department.

Accounting Tasks :

• Assist in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Data Management :

• Perform data entry, validation, and analysis tasks in accounting software.
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for financial records.

Compliance and Auditing :

• Assist in internal and external audit preparations.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.

Collaboration and Projects :

• Work closely with team members on special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team when necessary.
• All Ad hoc projects

Financial Analysis :

• Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or variances.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process as needed.

EDUCATION

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES :

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other financial tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous internship or experience in accounting/finance is an advantage but not required.
