The adjunct instructor is responsible for course preparation, delivery, and record keeping.
Teach all courses, as assigned, for the full duration of scheduled instruction
Enforce academic policy and procedures, and comply with institutional rules and regulations.
Assume responsibility for off-site/ classroom prep, including maintenance and clean-up.
Work hours may vary from a traditional daytime schedule and can include both day and evening classes.
Develop, conduct, or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws, hazardous condition monitoring, and the use of safety equipment.
Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
Understanding of the mission, goals, and objectives of a community college.
Must complete mandatory training.
Must be a Certified OSHA instructor/trainer.
Work Experience:
A minimum of three years of work-related experience in the industrial safety sector.
