Quartus is a key contributor to aerospace advancements, specializing in engineering simulation and custom hardware. We’ve played a vital role in a diverse range of free space, launch and spacecraft projects including the NASA James Webb Space Telescope project for 17 years, covering design, analysis, and testing. Quartus is actively involved in leading in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing (ISAM) systems. Our expertise spans aircraft structural design, analysis, and testing, including support for FAA certifications. As an Engineer II or III in our Herndon, VA office, you will perform structural analyses of air vehicles, spacecraft, and components. You will work on both metallic and composite structures, tackling challenging problems in dynamic loads, aeroelasticity, and structural substantiation, to bring designs from concept through test and certification. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, solving complex engineering problems, and providing technical expertise that shapes the performance and safety of next-generation aerospace systems.
Position is based in Herndon, VA with a hybrid schedule.*

Engineer II pay range: $78,279 – $127,907 *
Engineer III pay range: $94,718 – $154,768*
*This range represents base pay. In addition, you may be eligible for additional benefits and compensation.
