The College of Architecture, Art, and Planning (Cornell AAP) at Cornell University is seeking a full time Department Manager for Art Department.
The department manager directs the day-to-day operations, collaborating with the department chair to develop and implement management strategies for short- & long-range fiscal, operational, and human resource areas. The person in this role also works cooperatively with the Associate Dean for Administration and other department managers and resource stewards in the college and participating colleges, to build and sustain a culture of collaboration and continuous process improvement.

The Department of Art, offers a B.F.A., an M.F.A. in Creative Visual Arts, and an M.F.A. in Image Text. The department enjoys a close relationship with diverse academic units across the university including in the humanities, sciences, and technology. Art faculty and students have access to extensive traditional and digital production facilities in the college as well as to the resources of a major research university. The department also offers a semester-long undergraduate studio program in Rome, Italy.
