Job Position: Assistant Teacher \
Toddler Program 18 months 3 years old\
Primary Program 3 years old 6 years old\
QUALIFICATIONS: Springhill Montessori School is seeking qualified Assistant Teacher (Toddler/Primary). Candidate must have Montessori Assistant Training certificate or work in a Montessori environment. The candidate should be dedicated to the Montessori approach, love teaching, and believe in children. Candidate should be creative, enthusiastic, and have great communication skills with both adults and children, as well as strong classroom management skills. We are looking for someone to join our team of teachers, in a warm, supportive work environment that you would be proud to call your own. We would prefer 3-5 years experience.\
Job Description\
1. Helps maintain a classroom that is clean, sanitary, uncluttered and aesthetically pleasing.\
2. Ensures that all classroom equipment is well-maintained and regularly inspected for safety hazards. Assists in the classroom set-up and clean-up, and the making of materials under the guidance of the classroom Guide.\
3. Attends and participates in all appropriate meetings and planning sessions as outlined in the Staff Handbook. Attends all in-service days, staff meetings, and training sessions appropriate to the classroom.\
4. Attends all appropriate parent meetings, orientations and school functions.\
5. Assists in inventory of needed equipment and supplies.\
6. Maintains a consistent attitude of loyalty and enthusiasm for the school and its policies.\
