Position Overview

This is an opportunity for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and start learning a skilled trade. As an Entry-Level AV Technician , you’ll work alongside senior techs to install structured cabling and support AV systems in some of Colorado’s most beautiful homes. This is a growth-minded role designed to evolve as you gain knowledge, confidence, and experience in the field.

You won’t be stuck behind a desk—this is hands-on work in real environments, learning from the best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation of AV cabling, equipment, and infrastructure

  • Support senior technicians during system setup, trim, and finish work

  • Learn tools, terminology, and techniques relevant to the AV and smart home industry

  • Maintain organized, clean job sites and follow safety protocols

  • Take direction well, ask questions when needed, and show initiative in learning

  • Travel to local job sites (some occasional overnight work may be required)

Qualifications

  • No prior AV experience required—just a strong work ethic and desire to learn

  • Interest in technology, tools, construction, or hands-on trades

  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking direction

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or in attic/crawl spaces

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Willingness and ability to travel for projects as needed (majority are local)

Compensation

$20–$27 per hour , depending on experience
