Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Billing / Coding Supervisor for an upcoming project supporting a team of medical coders. This full-time role offers a primarily remote work environment with occasional travel.

Position Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise & Support a team of remote medical coders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with federal standards
• Monitor Performance Metrics , analyze coding productivity and accuracy, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure Compliance with DHA, DoD, and MHS GENESIS® medical coding policies and regulations
• Provide Training & Guidance to enhance coder proficiency and keep staff updated on policy changes
• Prepare & Present Reports on coding performance, backlog trends, and compliance issues to leadership

Qualifications:

• Advanced Coding Knowledge – Strong expertise in inpatient and ambulatory medical coding
• DoD Coding Experience – Familiarity with DHA policies, ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and federal coding guidelines
• Leadership Experience – Minimum 2 years of experience managing a medical coding or billing team , preferably in a remote setting
• Analytical & Reporting Skills – Ability to review data metrics, track productivity, and address performance shortfalls
• Certifications Preferred – CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA, or equivalent coding certification
