Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to join our team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. This position involves preparing accounting and financial reports, recording financial transactions across various ledgers, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries as needed, and handling general accounting duties. You'll also assist with payroll and sales/use tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare accounting and financial reports.
- Record financial transactions in all ledgers and reconcile accounts.
- Create journal entries when necessary.
- Perform various general accounting tasks.
- Prepare payroll and sales/use tax returns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- At least 8 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Expert-level skills in QuickBooks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as other accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of personalities and contribute as a team player.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new processes.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and reviewing your own work for accuracy before submission.
- Prior experience in public accounting is preferred.
- Must pass a bookkeeping exam and background check.

Job Details:

- Type: Part-time hourly position (15-20 hours per week to start), with potential to transition into a full-time role.
- Pay: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Flexible, Monday to Friday (PST).
