Fuego, located in North Miami, is seeking a skilled Butcher to join our passionate team. Our bustling kitchen thrives on creativity and precision, crafting delectable dishes that delight our loyal customers. As a Butcher at Fuego, you will be at the heart of our operation, ensuring only the finest cuts of meat are served to our discerning clientele. This role offers a competitive hourly salary of $21 - $22, providing a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to showcase their expertise. • Prepare various cuts of meat for display and sale in accordance with quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment to meet food safety regulations
• Assist customers with selecting the right cuts of meat and provide cooking recommendations
• Receive and inspect meat deliveries to ensure quality and quantity meet company standards
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to fulfill special meat orders for events or specific customer requests

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in meat cutting and butchery
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling procedures
• Strong attention to detail and precision in cutting meat
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Competencies: US Work Authorization, Food Service Experience, Food Handling License
