Crosstown Meals on Wheels, a small non-profit organization whose volunteers deliver nutritious meals to homebound residents of Richfield, Edina and Southwest Minneapolis, is seeking a contract accountant. Responsibilities include paying bills, processing payroll and related tax filings, recording deposits, preparing quarterly financial statements, attending quarterly Board meetings, preparing the annual Form 990, and maintaining the financial and administrative records of the organization. Candidate must be proficient with QuickBooks and accrual accounting. Work will be done remotely and the monthly commitment is estimated to be 8-10 hours, with the hourly rate to be negotiated.
