There is a unique opportunity for a personable and skilled Dental Assistants who is willing to relocate to Bermuda. You'll be joining their dedicated, patient-focused team, playing a vital role in their mission to provide outstanding oral healthcare in a welcoming and supportive environment.

What Will You Do

• Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Readies patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
• Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
• Assembles instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area, positioning instruments for dentist’s access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed.
• Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
• Documents dental care services by charting in patient records.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with note taking.

What You’ll Need

• Must be willing to relocate to Bermuda
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Certified or Registered Dental Assistant
• Level I or II Certification and skills
• Enthusiastic attitude to working within a small team
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Currently licensed in United States, Canada or UK
• Valid Passport
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Well-organized and reliable
• Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. HARP)
