We are seeking an experienced Commercial Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize daily warehouse functions for our commercial moving company. This role is responsible for managing the flow of materials, equipment, and personnel to ensure seamless execution of all warehouse and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and experience in warehouse management within the moving or logistics industry.
Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, staging, loading, and dispatching of moving equipment and client assets.
Ensure accurate inventory tracking, asset management, and proper storage of commercial goods.
Develop and implement efficient operational processes and safety procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant facility.
Manage a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
Coordinate with project managers and field crews to support timely job preparation and delivery.
Monitor warehouse productivity and performance metrics, implementing improvements where necessary.
Maintain inventory of packing materials, moving supplies, tools, and equipment.
Oversee equipment maintenance, repair scheduling, and vendor management.
Assist in planning and coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments and transfers.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
3+ years of experience in warehouse operations management, preferably in commercial moving, logistics, or distribution.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient with inventory management systems and basic office software (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Forklift certification preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
