JOB SUMMARY  

Greet and assist visitors, families, residents; answer telephone, providing information and taking messages as required; sort and distribute mail; type files, stuff envelopes, and handle correspondence. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

POSITION   OVERVIEW  

1. Greet visitors and family members and provide non-confidential information requested.
2. Answer the telephone promptly using the appropriate greeting for the community.
3. Sort mail and distribute to appropriate departments.
4. Type and file correspondence and other information as needed.
5. Adhere to and interpret resident’s rights.
6. Adhere to and interpret the personnel policies.
7. Use of computers, calculators, copy machines, postage machines, etc.
8. Express concern and compassion for residents and families.
9. Escort people, if necessary, to resident’s suites and other areas.
10. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Demonstration of our Core Values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect. 
2. Experience : at least one year preferred of front desk/reception related experience.
3. Education : High school or equivalent preferred but not required.
4. Job Knowledge : Typing, filing, use of copy machine, telephone systems, intercommunication system and office equipment. Be knowledgeable regarding resident rights, confidentiality, how to meet the public and answer questions, employee handbook and census.
5. Other: Be friendly, courteous, patient, understanding, and work well with people including staff, residents, and families. Meet deadlines, organize, and prioritize the work load.

*Team members who are scheduled to work 24 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits, families of said team members will also be eligible.
