Job Summary:

We are searching for a detail-oriented and versatile Associate to support our Cultivation team in various daily functions. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, punctuality, attention to detail, trustworthiness, and a readiness to adapt to new roles as needed. While prior experience in cannabis cultivation is preferred, it is not mandatory; we are committed to training candidates with the right attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for cannabis.

This role operates in a startup environment where infrastructure, policies, benefits, and procedures are under development. Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to thrive during initial phases of development are crucial for success. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and care for plants in a large commercial cannabis greenhouse, including defoliation, trellising, watering, and inspections.
• Prepare rooms for cultivation cycles, including placing grow media, hanging trellises, installing irrigation systems, and inserting plants.
• Ensure optimal plant health and report any issues promptly.
• Perform tasks necessary to sustain greenhouse flowering cycles.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, accountability, and responsibility.
• Identify and document any problems related to products, processes, or quality systems.
• Adapt cultivation techniques to various strains and types of cannabis while maintaining quality and pace.
• Assist in the harvest process, including removal of plants from grow media and maintaining strain separation.
• Knowledge of pest and disease control management is advantageous.
• Adhere to cultivation department policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces thoroughly.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up at least 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work at least 40 hours per week with various shift options.
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
• Willingness to work in a cannabis production facility.
