GPU Deployment Experience (Huge nice to have, not required) 3. IT Skills (Network/Systems) Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves Summary: Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission Run/Label/Stage Power & Networking Cables DBD removal only (does not perform any scanning) Follows procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads Prepares, stages, sets up, and performs basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, guides, standard procedures, and with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads Physical audits of datacenter assets Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Required: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components. Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) Required: Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays The main function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions. Job Responsibilities: - Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance - Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program - Help programmers and systems analysts test and debug new programs - Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports Qualifications: - Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required - 2+ years of DC experience required - Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills - Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time Additional Skills & QualificationsCandidates must be open to both Goodyear AND Downtown PHX Sites (near the airport) Some roles will be nights: comes with 10% shift differential Employee Value Proposition (EVP): Our client is in Hypergrowth mode which makes it an exciting time to join. PPE is required and will be provided from us - Composite-toed boots (TEK reimburses up to $100) - High-vis vest - Safety glasses - Cut-resistant gloves - Ear protection Some of these sites are still under construction and require additional PPE. - Hard hat Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
