OverviewDental Insurance CoordinatorYonchak & Agarwala We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, managing claims and pre-authorizations, and serving as a key point of contact for patients regarding their insurance benefits. Your expertise will help ensure accurate billing and a seamless financial experience for our patients. Schedule: Full Time ResponsibilitiesVerify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointmentsSubmit insurance claims and pre-authorizations in a timely and accurate mannerFollow up on outstanding claims and resolve denials or discrepanciesEducate patients on their insurance coverage, co-pays, deductibles, and financial responsibilitiesCoordinate with the billing team to ensure proper coding and documentationMaintain accurate patient insurance records within the practice management systemRespond to patient and insurance inquiries regarding claims and coverageCollaborate with front office and clinical teams to ensure a smooth patient experienceMaintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory guidelinesAssist with billing-related tasks and support front desk duties as neededPlease note that additional responsibilities may be assigned QualificationsRequirements High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience working with dental or medical insurancePreferred SkillsFamiliarity with insurance terminology, claims processes, and EOBsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in dental practice management softwareComfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of dental codes and common insurance plansUnderstanding of HIPAA regulations We OfferCompetitive CompensationComprehensive Benefits Package for Full Time Employees: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more! The salary range for this role is $19.50 - $24.50 per hour.
