This is a Part-Time position at Cristwood Park in Shoreline, WA.

Schedule: 20-25 hours per week
Compensation: $16.66 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience  Benefits: 403(b) matching, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Parental Leave, up to 42.5% King's school tuition discount for dependent child(ren) K-12

POSITION SUMMARY

The Dishwasher is responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen.  Provide a Christ-like attitude and biblical heart by performing a variety of food equipment cleaning duties as well as tasks directed by cooks and supervisors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES

• Operate the dishwasher and clean food service equipment according to established cleaning schedule.
• Wash, clean and dry pots, pans and other food service equipment and store equipment once clean and dry.
• Remove trash and herbage as directed; flatten all sanitation standards according to the established cleaning schedule.
• Work collaboratively with supervisor and residents.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

CHRIST CENTERED 

• Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
• Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc.).
• Prayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA.
• Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
• Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).
• Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC). 
• Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION

• Washington State Food Handler’s Permit.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

• Read, write, communicate and interpret English at a functional level.
• Able to work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and residents.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• High School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE 

• Restaurant or Nursing Home Experience.
