Jovie Nannies + Sitters, a leading childcare agency, is seeking 3 enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teachers to join our growing team in Kansas City, MO!** This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. 

About the Role:

 

• Nurturing Young Learners: Create a safe and stimulating environment for children ages 0-4, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Curriculum Champion: Implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that spark curiosity and a love of learning.
• Playful Partner: Lead a variety of activities like singing, storytelling, arts & crafts, and outdoor play (weather permitting).
• Communication Cornerstone: Collaborate with fellow teachers, parents, and agency staff to ensure the well-being and development of each child.
• Flexible Schedule: Choose your schedule! We offer flexible options: Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm), (8:30 am - 5:30 pm), or (9:00 am - 6:00 pm).

The Ideal Candidate has:

 

• Passion for early childhood education and a strong understanding of child development.
• Minimum 2 year of experience working with children ages 0-4 with references.
• Reliable vehicle, insured and a valid driver's license 
• Warm, nurturing, and patient with a genuine love for children.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• CPR and First Aid certified (required).
• Ability to plan and lead engaging activities for young children.
• Willing to go through requirements for Missouri to work in a center (we will guide and support you!)
