**Responsibilities** The incumbent provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally. **Qualifications** **Minimum:** + Current California RN license required + One (1) year of experience in an Emergency Room or related field of nursing as an RN. + Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association) **Preferred:** + Current California CCRN license preferred + Two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Room or related field of nursing as an RN. + MICN, ENPC, TNCC and CEN \#RN@DH **Overview** Built-in 1973, Dignity Health Methodist Hospital of Sacramento is committed to providing daily excellence in health care for residents of Sacramento's southern suburbs, including the Elk Grove, Wilton, and Galt communities.
