Position Details

Title: Entry Level Inside Sales
Location: Richwood, KY

We are a well-established, family owned and operated company looking to grow our sales team.  We are looking for aggressive, resilient, bold people that are willing to work hard and enjoy a team atmosphere.  We offer a thorough three step training program in the first year with the company where you learn how to market our paper and board to printers, publishers, and packaging companies.  As you progress through training, your pay will increase as well.  We compensate our sales team with a base salary plus bonuses. You’ll have the opportunity to earn $55k-$75k in your first year!

This position will also assist in setting you up with the framework, tools, and success to move to an outside sales role.

As you progress through training, you will take on more responsibility that will include:

• The first few months are spent as a Sales Qualifier where you will begin training and learning our products, pricing, and business while qualifying accounts from our mailing list and evaluating their potential business.
• The next step is becoming a Sales Coordinator. In this position, you will get more of an understanding of what the sale process involves which includes working with the outside sales representatives, sending samples, adding customer product information to the database, and making calls to customers or prospects to build your book of business.
• Once you’ve completed the Sales Qualifier and Coordinator positions, you will move into the Inside Sales Representative position. This is where you will build off the knowledge and business you’re started in your previous roles.  This process has the potential to translate and create a successful outside sales opportunity if desired.

The hours are Monday through Friday, 830am to 530pm, in office setting and in person.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Qualifying/evaluating accounts from our mailing list
• Planning and scheduling visits for outside sales representatives
• Lead generation and customer follow up
• Opening and growing new business
• Handle additional administrative duties as required

Requirements

• 1 year sales experience preferred, but not required
• College degree preferred, but not required
• Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Confident and possess a positive attitude
• Have a strong interest in a sales career
