Job Description:
This is a hybrid position for a long-term client assignment. The ideal candidate lives within commuting distance of Cincinnati, OH to support in-person meetings.

As an Entry-Mid Tester with Lighthouse Technologies, you will be responsible for analysis and review of the project documentation to design and execute software tests. The position will be responsible for communicating testing status directly with the project team. This position will review requirements, business and system use cases, technical specifications, and other project documentation to design, write and maintain test cases. The position will document and communicate defects, as well as verify defect resolution and remediation efforts. The position will be accountable for creating and maintaining rigorous documentation standards in line with client’s standard operating procedures. You may also be asked to participate in major system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance, as well as working with project teams that include stakeholders and presenting to senior management and customers.

The Ideal Candidate: 
• Minimum of 1-3 years of software testing experience 
• API testing experience
• ISTQB Software Testing Certification
• Some experience with test automation

Skills Required:
• Knowledge of Software Testing fundamentals, techniques, and terminology
• Capable of meeting with and working directly with clients to understand their needs and solve their problems
• Strong self-management skills with the ability to independently set goals and take initiative to achieve them
