Position: Epic Analyst
Location: Local to Altamonte springs, FL (Onsite from day1)
Duration: 6+ months
Note: They are open to consider an Epic analyst and they can train on ETL
SQL is no longer a requirement but nice to have
Epic Caboodle and clarity certified (must have)
2-3 years of experience (not looking for SR candidates)
Experience: Intermediate position around 3 years. No more than 5 years of experience
Scope/Description:
Must have experience with EPIC clarity and caboodle is what they're working in. Cogito is a plus and could be helpful.
EPIC specific experience, when a data model comes in they would navigate epic to see how it can be integrated or set up as a new model, being able to source the data through the data warehouse if it is already there, or be able to communicate with the team what kind of data needs to be imported into the data warehouse for them to work with.
His team is totally focused on genomics. Use epic pipespace to see how existing assets can be integrated or can be a new asset. When covid happened no one shared a data model template so we had to wait for us to build it out. If someone who has epic expertise they'll navigate it to hyper space and if that table is avai in the warehouse they can source it and bring it and if they can't they would ask another team and they will do the loading in the warehouse. This person will guide and do extraction of data.
Data engineering vs. Analyst-- It really be a hybrid and we want to start a list. It's not always that we have requirements to fish in epic. 20-25% analyst the rest will be engineering.
If we build the reports in sigma they can browse around and we can point the stakeholders to the reports
