$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

About the Role

High performance finance executive with energy deal structuring, financing, modeling, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Operating Model
• NAV group structuring experience
• Drive ongoing development and enhancement of the utility strategic operating model
• Spearhead the effort to reduce results variability, analyzing root causes and driving forecasting improvements.
• Oversight of long-term financial metrics, analyses, and sensitivities.
• Partner with the business to develop financial models to assess risk and return of potential investments including sensitivity analysis, scenario analyses, and potential capital structures (project finance, tax equity, etc.)
• Work closely with Tax, Treasury, and Accounting to ensure correct understanding and modeling of assumptions including tax incentives, potential funding options, and other key critical inputs.
• Collaborate with business partners to guide investments through the investment approval process including preparation of investment memos.
• Analyze research data and synthesize raw information into insights and recommendations.
• Participate in due diligence to identify all details of potential investment projects.
• Prepare “look back” analyses to assess achievement of forecasted business plan for approved projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar with 8 years of relevant experience or; Master’s degree in similar concentration with 6 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills

• Experience working in energy, infrastructure, renewable, or utility or other capital-intensive industries.
• An understanding of the capital structures used for these assets, such as project financing and tax equity.
• Excellent writing, proposal preparation, and presentation skills.
