The Fingerprint Technician will perform electronic fingerprinting functions according to State and FBI requirements. This is an entry level position and the incumbent will be introduced to various processes, taught how to operate various fingerprinting machinery, and trained to navigate through specialized computer software databases.

The Fingerprint Technician will be required to work at all four of our Maryland locations (Germantown, Rockville, Silver Spring and Bethesda).

Bilingualism is encouraged but not necessary.

Duties may include but not limited to,

• Welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
• Managing appointment software (creating, rescheduling and canceling appointments)
• Operating POS system and assisting with customer transactions
• Verify customer identity and scanning required documents into database system
• Fingerprinting customers for various licensing and employment requirements
• Adhere to all company and departmental employment policies regarding security and confidentiality

We are currently looking for applicants who can fulfill these requirements:

• Minimum 25 hrs per week
• Minimum 3 days per week
• Available 2 Saturdays a month 9am-1pm
• Preferred 1 Sunday per month (not required)
• Available to work in all 4 locations
• Rockville: 7361 Calhoun Pl, Rockville, MD 20855
• Bethesda: 6701 Democracy Blvd, Bethesda, MD 20817
• Silver Spring: 12501 Prosperity Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20904
• Germantown: 12800 Middlebrook Rd, Germantown, MD 20874
• Must have reliable transportation to commute between the office locations listed above

The selected candidate will receive training from the State of Maryland and undergo a criminal history background check. Candidates must be 18+, detail-oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, possess proficient typing skills, the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner, have their own transportation and flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 per hour
