Location: Commutable to Rahway, NJ (onsite as needed)Contract Type: W2 Hourly (Freelance/Ad-hoc/Project-based)Compensation Range: $40 - 45 per hourOur client in the pharmaceutical space is looking for a Freelance Video Producer to join their dynamic video team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the pre-production, production and post-production of original videos based on business and marketing strategy for on-time and on-budget delivery to meet client expectations.The ideal candidate is someone who is creative and innovative with excellent storytelling skills.This will be a remote, FREELANCE opportunity; therefore, this person must be close and commutable to Rahway, NJ as they will need to be onsite as needed. Responsibilities: Support video productions from concept through completion. Collaborate with staff and clients to develop original, thematic and appropriate concepts and scripts for corporate video projects, including training, communications and other purposes. Support studio and field production. Support virtual productions. Interface with client and client staff as needed. Interview subjects on- or off-camera; provide guidance to non-actor talent to achieve good on-camera performances. Oversee edit/graphic sessions on lower-tier projects utilizing both in-house and external personnel. Manage project budgets, resources and schedules for lower-tier projects. Support camera crews and professional and non-professional talent on production days. Operate production equipment when necessary. Engage in professional development to continuously grow in your profession and remain competitive with outside services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in broadcast production, film, communication or a related field. Minimum of three years of video production experience with a minimum of two years of client management responsibility. Portfolio required. Good command of modern digital video production, equipment and processes, including experience with multiple video formats and understanding of video production terminology. Deep understanding of production positions and roles and ability to match crew & vendor capabilities with production needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including script writing. Initiative, energy and enthusiasm. Flexibility; must work well in teams and be comfortable both giving direction and receiving it from others. Outstanding customer service orientation including professional presence and superior client relationship skills. Ability to work effectively with senior management and production colleagues in a corporate environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented with good observational skills. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to anticipate problems and take action. Working knowledge of video editing Working knowledge of Adobe suite, with a focus on Premiere Pro, Media Encoder and After Effects. Understanding of cloud based production environment a plus eg: MAM/DAM/PAM.
