The Francis is seeking flexible front desk staff to join our vibrant team, filling an inn-keeper role that embodies the spirit of our boutique hotel. About the Role: As part of our front desk team, you'll be at the heart of our operations—welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring their stay is nothing short of exceptional. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performing check-in and check-out tasks with a smile
• Managing online (third party) and phone reservations efficiently
• Responding to guest emails and texts effectively and attentively
• Problem solving through challenges and resolving issues to leave the guest wanting to come back
• Welcoming guests and assigning rooms while providing information about our amenities and services
• Collaborating with housekeeping to ensure all rooms are immaculate
• Responding to guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism
• Assisting with various hotel operations, including light maintenance, laundry, dish washing, common space cleaning and restocking supplies

• Prior experience in a hotel front desk, receptionist, or innkeeper role
• Familiarity with hotel reservation software (e.g., OnQ, Opera, StaynTouch, Room Master)
• Proficiency in responding to emails and using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other online platforms
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• A desire to grow and develop within the hospitality industry
