**Responsibilities** + See patients in the outpatient clinic and hospital setting + Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to Gastroenterology patients under the supervision and responsibility of a Physician + Participate in education development and growth of DHMG Gastroenterology Division + Work closely with the administrative and clinical directors for the GI Service Program to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in provision of clinical services **Qualifications** PA Requirements: + Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) + Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program + Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant. + Valid DEA registration. + Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff NP Requirements: + Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) + Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners + Compact state or Arizona RN license + Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license + Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.)
