The Vontobel Quality Growth Boutique is looking to add a talented Junior to Mid-level experienced equity analyst. This is an excellent role for a highly motivated up and coming stock picking analyst to grow with the firm.



Overview of the Position:


The Analyst's duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Conduct research on specific companies assigned by CIO and Director of Research while also generating new investment ideas.
• Perform bottom-up research on assigned companies focusing on evaluating the industry's competitive intensity, sustainability of companies' competitive advantages, and assessing structural growth drivers.
• Forecast medium- and long-term earnings growth for the companies under coverage.
• Value stocks using VAMUS methodology.
• In addition to maintaining coverage of specifically assigned names, work independently to formulate/define research initiatives within assigned sectors and industries.
• Utilize Factset application to gather financial information to inform analyses.
• Consistently monitor news flow, relevant actions, events and changes in the industry impacting areas of primary coverage responsibility.
• Produce written communications and updates on companies owned and under consideration in the portfolio.
• Develop investment recommendations to present to CIO, portfolio managers and other team members, demonstrating high conviction while also regularly updating views on investment theses.

Preferred Qualifications / Candidate Profile:

• 3+yrs experience covering equities.
• Either sell-side or buy-side experience.
• Top academics from a leading university in a relevant subject.

Compensation:


USD100k to USD300k depending on experience
