Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Lead development, maintenance, and support for the Maven electronic disease surveillance system
Lead public health informatics planning for projects
Work with the Rhapsody analyst to support interfaces, such as electronic lab reports, syndromic surveillance messages, and electronic case reports
Monitor and resolve technical issues
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field or Master's degree in Public Health
Experience with Microsoft Office tools
Experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages
Knowledge of coding standards, such as HL7, LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10, CPT, and other clinical or message coding
Two years experience working in a public health setting
