Job Title: Helpdesk/IT Support Technician
Location: College Station, TX
Summary:
We are seeking a Help Desk / IT Support Technician for an urgent short-term contract in College Station, TX . The role will support the setup of IT infrastructure for a large live event at a stadium .
Responsibilities:
Device Deployment: Install, configure, and deploy Windows devices on-site.
Network Support: Handle basic networking tasks, including switch/router setup and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Event Support: Provide onsite IT support to ensure smooth operations during the event.
Documentation: Record setup activities and network configurations for tracking.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts (routers, switches, connectivity).
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+ preferred.
Experience: Previous Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support role required.
Availability: Must be available immediately for onsite contract work in College Station.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities.
