Job Description

Sector 7 is looking to add an experienced MSP sales professional with a consultative sales approach, a successful track record of growing both new business and expansion revenue with service providers. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high-performance sales culture, specifically managing a pipeline, delivering results against a quota, working across teams, and building productive partner relationships. The role of outside sales and business developer combines technical knowledge with sales skills to provide potential customers with advice and support on the products and services we offer. This position is supported by a base salary and performance/merit pay compensation plan.

Responsibilities:

o Confidently have and control conversations with people you do not know regarding our brands, products, and services

o Maximize the use of your time to reach the largest breadth of qualified customers as quickly as possible

o Establish a healthy routine

o Be able to have a little fun but be humble enough to laugh at yourself

o Management of your leads, acting as the primary contact for presales opportunities

o Search through existing clients and referrals who might benefit from additional company products or services

o Execute the overall sales strategy to maximize market penetration

o Make multiple quality sales calls to prospective customers and set up zoom meetings when needed

o Negotiate contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs

o Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating projects with the Sector 7 team

o Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience

Physical Demands: 

o Must be able to operate a phone

o Must be able to type on a keyboard and operate basic functions of a computer/laptop

o High School Diploma
