Position: IT Infrastructure Tech Writer
Location: Ann Arbor, MI ***Day 1 Onsite***

Mandatory Skills
Tech Writer in IT infrastructure and apps.
Key responsibilities
8+ years of experience in technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, system specifications, troubleshooting guides, release notes, and online help content for IT infrastructure and applications.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, quality assurance, and customer support teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand content for various audiences, including technical and non-technical users.
Structure and organize information logically for easy navigation and comprehension.
Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect new features, changes, and industry standards.
Work within software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile development methodologies.
Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in technical writing, preferably within the IT industry, demonstrating the ability to document technical products and procedures effectively.
Ability to quickly learn and understand complex IT concepts, systems, and software.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in documentation tools and software such as: Microsoft Word, Confluence, Adobe FrameMaker, or other relevant tools.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with specific IT infrastructure components or application domains relevant to the company's focus (e.g., cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP; cybersecurity; networking).
Experience with Agile documentation practices.
Familiarity with UX design principles and how they relate to technical documentation.
Knowledge of SEO and content strategy principles for online documentation
