Position: Lead Home Performance Technician Job Requirements:
Carpentry experience: Mastery in repairing, framing, and finishing work. Insulation expertise:
Proficiency in installing various insulation materials.
Air sealing skills: A knack for identifying and sealing air leaks to enhance energy efficiency.
Spray foam work: Experience in applying spray foam insulation.
Energy auditing (preferred): Previous experience in energy auditing is a plus, but not required.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities: As a Home Performance Technician, you will: Conduct assessments of homes to identify energy efficiency opportunities. Lead a team to perform carpentry, insulation, air sealing, and spray foam installation tasks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Provide recommendations to homeowners on energy-saving improvements. Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and safety protocols.
