Collaborating with a medical center in northern Maine that has an opening for a CRNA to assist their team.
About the Opening:
Schedule: 2 weeks on, 1 week off
Week 1: night and weekend beeper call only
Week 2: 7a-3p, no call
Setting: 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
Case Types: Endo, urology, general, gynecology
Must be proficient in ultrasounds, spinals, epidurals, and blocks
Team Structure: All CRNA practice
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
During your time off, explore scenic trails in a nearby national forest, learn about Acadian culture at a local museum, and enjoy kayaking and fishing on a picturesque river .

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered CRNA Maine state license
Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program
One year of work experience as a CRNA
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
