Manufacturing Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 100k/year - Madison, WI

• Our plastics manufacturing client is a leading supplier for reproductive technology in farm animals. They manufacture various test tubes, bottles, and jugs to serve within the agriculture, pet breeding, and human medicine industries.
  
• Focusing in the injection and blow molding segments, the team is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer will be the go-to, technical expert on all machines and processes at the facility, having full control over process improvements and new initiatives involving new technology.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of all manufacturing equipment and processes - maintaining current processes for injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, packaging, and assembly
  
• Spearheading new initiatives involving acquiring and implementation of new technology & capabilities
  
• Lead manufacturing to use best practices
  
• Ensure ISO standards are met
  
• Tracking and monitoring department budget
  
• Drive process improvements on machines to help with reduction of labor costs
  
• Lead all trainings for new equipment, process improvements, best practices, etc

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma; Plus for AS or BS Degree
  
• 3+ years in plastics manufacturing setting
  
• Robust background in injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion manufacturing processes
  
• Hands-on troubleshooting abilities
  
• Mechanical aptitude

Compensation:

• Our client is offering a base salary up to 100k/year along with a comprehensive benefits package.
