Marketing Intern – Summer 2025

Kahuna is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our dynamic Marketing team this Summer. This internship is an exciting opportunity for an individual eager to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing functions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about learning digital marketing, branding, content creation, events, marketing automation, and more, all within the fast-paced environment of a Talent Management Software company.

As a Marketing Intern, you will play an integral role in supporting various marketing initiatives while gaining valuable insights into how marketing and sales teams collaborate to drive growth. You’ll be exposed to innovative marketing strategies, tools, and tactics designed to thrive in a competitive, high-energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

During this internship, you’ll gain exposure to multiple facets of marketing, including:

• Digital Marketing Campaigns: assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing strategies across channels such as social media, PPC, SEO, and display ads.
• Email Marketing: Craft compelling copy and analyze email performance metrics.
• Digital Marketing: Write social media content and measure results.
• Event & Tradeshow Support: Assist with the planning and logistics for industry tradeshows, webinars, and other events.
• Branding & Brand Development: Contribute to ongoing branding projects, including design reviews and messaging alignment.
• Marketing Automation: Gain experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, and other marketing automation tools to manage campaigns, track leads, and streamline marketing processes.
• Data Entry & Miscellaneous Tasks: Assist with data entry, database updates to ensure marketing efforts are properly tracked and optimized.
• Marketing Support: Support the team with miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A creative mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
