INSTRUCTOR / ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF NEW MEDIA
William Penn University (Iowa) seeks colleagues who can inspire and nurture our students’ creativity and integrate practical and professional skill building and who can teach a variety of courses, including studio and audio production, digital storytelling, and film / documentary production. 12 credit hours each semester. You also will mentor students outside the classroom through internships, practica, and live campus events. Preferred credentials include a master’s degree, professional experience, an appreciation for creative, collaborative, and entrepreneurial conversations. Additionally, a high level of technical knowledge, experience supervising student projects, and knowledge and interest in sports broadcasting/producing and screenwriting. You will have an opportunity to work closely with colleagues devoted to student learning and creativity, including an accomplished film director, who is a creative force on campus. We seek forward thinking colleagues who are committed to 21st century pedagogies and technologies, including gen AI.
