Were looking for a Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our friendly high-energy Pediatrics team in Avon Coloradoa town where hiking biking skiing and family-centered living are part of the everyday rhythm.
As a Pediatric Medical Assistant youll be an essential part of a collaborative care team dedicated to supporting infants children teens and their families. Youll create a warm welcoming environment while helping ensure each child receives compassionate high-quality care.
Taking vitals and documenting patient history in a kid-friendly family-centered way
Assisting providers with pediatric exams vaccinations and minor procedures
Performing venipunctures injections and other delegated clinical tasks
Supporting developmental screenings and routine well-child checks
Maintaining clear communication with parents and caregivers
Coordinating patient flow to keep visits smooth and low-stress
Keeping exam rooms stocked clean and ready for curious little visitors
Upholding HIPAA OSHA infection control and Vail Health values
2 years of clinical or administrative healthcare experience preferredpediatric experience a plus
Skills in venipuncture injections and basic clinical procedures
Certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant CNA EMT LPN RN or related role
BLS certification required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced pediatric setting
Tech-savvy with EHR systems and general computer skills
A warm patient family-centered approach to care
CNA or EMT
