We are looking for a skilled and motivated Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with medical billing and a deep understanding of various insurance types and companies.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who can effectively manage the medical collecting and claims follow-up processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various insurance types and companies, especially in the orthopedic or pain management areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process medical claims for orthopedic or pain management services.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
• Review and resolve claim denials and rejections, appeal as necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of various insurance policies and billing requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure accurate billing and coding.
• Keep detailed records of all billing activities and communications.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge in billing for orthopedic or pain management services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation and No-Fault, and other commercial payers.
• Experience with ICD -10 and CPT Coding
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet scheduled deadlines, and has organizational and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Certification in medical billing (e.g., CBCS, CPC) is a plus.
