Job Description

Aggregate Mining Company who has been in business for over 20 yearsis hiring for the position ofa Mobile Lube Mechanic 2nd Shift (2p.m. to 12 a.m.) at our San Tan Valley location. The duties will be but not limited to the following:

Job Description:

Maintain and repair heavy equipment
Perform general mechanic duties including repairing and maintaining lighting, grease, and lubrication systems found on heavy duty truck and equipment.
Light Mechanic work on heavy equipment
Oil Services on heavy equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance on heavy duty trucks, equipment generators and small construction tooling and equipment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must have active CLD with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements and ability to maintain while working with a current DOT Physical
Ability to identify and correct deficiencies found during maintenance procedures
Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Ability to accept responsibility for actions specifically Safety related
Able to work well in both supervised and unsupervised settings

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

Must be able to meet all safety requirements and adhere to safety policies
Must be ableto complete work tasks under various weather conditions including heat in excess of 100 degrees, cold and rain
Typical work schedule consists of 2nd shift hours Monday through Friday, but may be required to work overtime, or weekends.
Must be able to lift objects up to 80 lbs. on a daily basis
Maintain a clean work vehicle and work environment
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and random on the spot drug testing throughout the year.
