Job Title: MRI Technologist – Weekend Overnight
Location: Manhattan, NY 10029
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12:00 am – 8:00 am, Saturday & Sunday
Hours: 15 per week (7.5 hours per day, 2 days/week)
Pay Rate Local: $960/Week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking MRI Technologist for an exciting Local job in Manhattan, NY.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI imaging procedures with a focus on accuracy, safety, and patient comfort.
Position patients and coils to optimize image quality.
Educate patients about procedures and conduct MRI safety screenings.
Label, transmit, and complete imaging studies in PACS and IDX promptly.
Maintain clean and organized scan rooms and equipment at the start and end of each shift.
Stock radiology rooms and perform related clerical duties as needed.
Schedule and track exams in IDX; scan patient documents as required.
Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Adhere to radiology safety and infection-control protocols.
Assist physicians and support inpatient calls when necessary.
Participate in required in-services and continuing education.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience using MRI scanner equipment.
Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, MR physics, and technical MRI practices.
Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved Radiologic Technology program.
Valid New York State Diagnostic Radiology License.
ARRT (MRI) Registry – current.
BLS Certification.
More than 2 years of direct MRI experience.
