Salary: $150,000 - 170,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Network Engineer in a comparable position is essential. Candidates should hold professional certifications like CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent. A solid understanding of network infrastructure and hardware is necessary. You should be capable of implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network devices and possess knowledge of application transport and network protocols. The ability to create precise network diagrams and documentation for designing and planning communication systems is required. Proficiency in key network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, and SNMP is important. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools is expected. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to independently diagnose technical issues are crucial. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse team, along with the ability to communicate complex network concepts in straightforward, non-technical terms, are essential. Previous experience with an ISP or Managed Services provider is advantageous, as is familiarity with a NOC environment.

• In this role, I will be responsible for designing, setting up, managing, and optimizing networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware, software, and services across the company. I will monitor network performance and integrity to ensure high levels of data availability and network operation. It will be my duty to implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems. I will troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems, both hardware and software related, while collaborating with network architects to enhance system performance. Developing and implementing policies for network asset management, including lifecycle management for network hardware, software, and licensing, will also be part of my responsibilities. I will conduct training sessions to share my knowledge with junior and intermediate engineers and boost overall team efficiency. Additionally, I will participate in on-call network support rotation and work closely with other departments and IT staff.
