Healthcare Staffing Professionals, HSP is looking for a Pediatrician (MD or NP) that is committed to providing quality care to historically underserved patient populations throughout the San Fernando Valley Communities. The position is a full-time and permanent position with excellent benefits.
Compensation : $225,000 - $245,000 annually plus bonuses
Locations : Servicing two locations Burbank & Northridge in the Los Angeles/ San Fernando Valley.
Schedule :

• Full Time
• M-F
• On Call once every 6-8 Weeks on a rotating schedule

Essential Job functions :

• Provides primary care treatment in accordance with standard medical practice protocols.
• Records medical history and provides physical examinations and follow-up care.
• Works well with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) on-site training available.
• Provides individual patient instruction in accordance to prescribe treatment plan.
• Prescribes appropriate medication to patients as needed according to medical protocols and standard medical practice.
• Identifies psychological and emotional problems/issues and refers to appropriate resources.
• Adheres to Quality Improvement guidelines and participates in Quality Improvement programs for chronic diseases.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Current License/DEA in the State of California (Board Certification required)
• Have a valid NPI
• Must relate well to all cultural and ethnic groups in the community
• Ability to be flexible

Desired Qualifications :

• Medi-Cal Provider, already enrolled.
• Bilingual Spanish, Armenian or other LA County Thresholds Languages.
