WAREHOUSE Order Selector

Shift: Swing 2PM - 4PM Start time, four 10's scheduled between Sun-Thurs.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.83/hr. + weekly incentives up to $4 per hour available based on attendance, teamwork, and productivity. Hourly FT with full benefits and limitless growth potential. Ending shift times may vary based on volume.

Order Selector General Summary: Use the voice pick system, to pick orders accurately and in a timely manner while filling the tote in the correct sequence.

The ideal candidate must have a strong drive to work hard, excel in a team environment, have a keen eye for detail, and a sense of urgency.

General Summary: Accurately select product and prepare store orders for shipment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Pick orders by selecting items from the warehouse as directed by voice picking system. Places items on a pallet or in a tote ensuring product integrity, stability and safety.
• Operate powered, industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Meet company standards regarding production speed and accuracy, safety.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Work in environments which include concrete floors and a variety of temperatures.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and self-direction to effectively manage time.
• Learn in a hands-on environment with the ability to memorize routine tasks.
• Communicate ideas and information verbally and written.
• Perform tasks that require manual dexterity, hand eye coordination and depth perception.
• Perform repetitive tasks accurately for extended periods of time.
• Bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. Walk and move rapidly throughout the shift.
• Ability to work well with other employees to foster a respectful and professional work environment.

Education and Experience:
No special education or experience required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Warehouse and production experience; night shift experience; electric pallet jack experience preferred.

License and Certifications

• Physical Requirements: Very physical job, this position may lift up to 70lbs. Must be able to pass a physical abilities test.

Harbor Wholesale will train and certify new employees to safely use riding pallet jacks.
