GPAC is partnered with a successful Manufacturing company looking for a Powder Coat Painter.

Essential Functions of the Job

* Load and unload parts or product onto paint fixtures or carts
* Prepare material for paint by use of a variety of methods including shot blasting, sanding, and 5 stage washing
* Mask or plug threaded holes or machined surfaces as required
* Apply powder following standard operating procedures
* Set the cure oven parameters following standard operating procedures
* Perform scheduled checks on the wash system to ensure proper chemistry
* Perform the proper cleaning and maintenance of painting equipment

Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities (KSA's)

* Experienced in the methods and techniques related to safe use, storage and disposal of powder paint, chemicals, and safe cleanup techniques
* Demonstrate ability to work independently or in a group with minimal daily supervision and meet expectations
* Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
* Must be physically fit to wear PAPR equipment
* Able to use a floor-mounted man lift required

Education and Experience

* High School Diploma or GED
* A minimum of two (2) years of powder coat painting experience preferred and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
