At Shannon Wine Company, we are dedicated to crafting exceptional wines that reflect our commitment to quality and innovation. As a member of our Production team, you will play a vital role in supporting the winemaking process, ensuring efficiency, and driving continuous improvements in our production operations. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Winemaking Production Manager to help lead the way in producing outstanding wines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Winemaking and Production to oversee all aspects of the winemaking process.
- Contribute to wine style decisions and be an integral part of shaping the evolution of our wine portfolio.
- Develop and recommend new blends and wines to meet both short-term and long-term winemaking goals.
- Monitor and maintain product quality while addressing supply and demand fluctuations to meet production targets.
- Assist with harvest timing and grape picking decisions, ensuring optimal fruit quality for winemaking.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records of all winemaking activities in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure our wines meet the highest industry standards.
- Manage fermentation, racking, pumping, filtering, and blending of wines, ensuring precision and consistency.
- Work with the winemaking team to recommend and manage barrel and wood additive programs, making strategic purchases as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing and PR teams to represent the company at tastings and events.
- Engage in viticulture practices to help ensure high-quality grapes and support winemaking objectives.
- Stay in close contact with custom crush and storage facilities to maintain high production standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or equivalent in winemaking, enology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of winemaking experience in a production-focused environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities and workflows in a dynamic setting.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with data collection, analysis, and scientific methods used in winemaking.

Working Conditions:
•  This is a full-time, exempt position with a competitive salary.
•  Hours may vary depending on the season, with longer days during bottling and harvest.
•  The role involves both indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to varying weather conditions, as well as potential noise and humidity from cellar operations.
•  Some heavy physical tasks are required, including lifting up to 60 lbs and handling equipment.
