RSC2 is currently seeking a Project Manager – Level II to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for planning and managing IT projects that support the performance associated with our Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Geographic Service Providers (GSP) Military Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs).

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the planning and management of large, multi-disciplinary IT support projects.
  • Execute complex Information Technology projects aimed at addressing operational needs and process improvements.
  • Interface effectively with functional support groups and external personnel to resolve project-related issues.
  • Serve as the first line of contact to address issues at the operational level associated with PWS requirements.
  • Prepare capital and operating requests, ensuring alignment with project goals and budget constraints.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
Functional Responsibility:
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects, serving as a liaison between business and technical teams.
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each phase.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing multiple complex work assignments, often requiring innovative problem-solving and independent decision-making.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, facilitating effective collaboration and communication.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in project management within IT environments.
  • Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, as approved by the Government Task Manager.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, with a strong understanding of both business and technical aspects.
