Job Description Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, test automation engineers, UX designers, and scrum master's to continuously improve functionality enhancing our customer experience. Develop modular and maintainable HTML, CSS, Javascript, and React Native Develop and update the shared component libraries that enable our teams to iterate quickly. Write performant, maintainable, and testable code. Mentor and coach mid-level and junior-level developers. Using a mobile-first mentality, translate functional requirements into responsive components and pages. Schedule and coordinate changes and releases for production applications Champion accessibility best practices. Monitor, troubleshoot, identify, and resolve production issues. Just finalized contract to switch e-commerce platform -- standard maintenance (upgrade, updates) but also be part of transition and implementation on e-commerce (Kibow) Currently on Hybris Doesn't need someone to come from retail specific; Javascript, react, react native and true mobile experience. Bringing on a second mobile team, where they work on mobile store applications. Gins team is inheriting these team members. The new team is focusing on migrating from old CMS (Hyrbis) to new CMS (bloomreach) They are building out components to display banner context on the mobile app After the lift and shift, they will create a new mobile app for a tasting experience app that can partner with the stores -- see tasting schedules, interact with tastings, consumer facing -- launching in Q3 -- goal is by holiday. Can be assisting in current enhancements for the current applications Launching a new feature called engraving -- sending customized gifts where you can engrave a bottle. Experience in Responsive and Adaptive Web Design Experience in designing and developing UI for various devices (desktop, table, mobile, etc.) Basic knowledge of Image Manipulation Tooling like: Invision, PHOTOSHOP, GIMP Solid coding practices including regular code reviews, documentation, and version control. Experience in performance tuning of the front-end elements Preference for agile development and familiarity with its tools like Jira. Experience with Go- even for personal projects Backend experience on leading e-commerce platforms such as Hybris, Oracle ATG, IBM websphere or complex Java web applications.
